Stephen, in your video question from Hank (about the Jordan backboard) you said you didn’t file anything and just went to Ohio Art with your idea (and I assume with a sell sheet?). Are you saying you did not file a PPA? And if so, was the only reason because Ohio Art already had the license on MJ? Can you explain this a bit more? Thanks

When cold calling companies to sell your idea, how do you protect (assuming a provisional patent has already been filed) the idea? Do you ask for a NDA to be completed before you send the sell sheet and one-line benefit statement?

Hi All,
Thank you for this wonderful video!
I would also like to know the answer to Ned’s question.

When cold calling to sell your idea, assuming a provisional patent has already been filed, do you ask for a NDA to be completed before you send the sell sheet and one-line benefit statement?

Thanks again!

Stephen, you’re awesome! I just wish your book had been out about 15 years ago! I always suggest to my readers that if they can only read one book, to read One Simple Idea.
